Group Exercise

We have a small group exercise room and currently offer the following classes:

Kickboxing – A full body workout that combines boxing, kickboxing and martial arts
movements, focusing on correct form and technique.  Kicks and punches will also be
applied to a freestanding bag. Suitable for all levels.  Gloves are recommended.

Salsa Aerobics – Each class will have 15 - 20 minutes of cardio followed by upper body
and/or lower body work and floor exercises.  

Interval Training - This class incorporates cardiovascular activities alternately performed at
high and low intensity. The purpose is to take the heart rate and energy output through a
series of peaks and valleys. This helps to increase lean muscle mass and cardiovascular
endurance while decreasing body fat.  The general format of the class alternates 3 minutes
of aerobic activity followed by a minute and a half of strength training using resistive tubing
and free weights

Six-Pack Attack - This 30 minute class consists of callisthenic and isometric training with a
focus on core strength and flexibility.  Appropriate for those looking to better define their mid-
section (all fitness levels).  

Tai Chi - Learn to unleash the power of your chi with gentle flowing motion, deep breathing
and a focused mind/body connection.  Simple yet deceptively challenging movements
strengthen you from the inside out to create harmony and health.

Kung Fu - This is an in depth on-going study of forms, fighting, exercise and training in the
ancient techniques and formulas of Kung Fu.  Ranking is optional, sweating is mandatory.  
Grandmaster Glynn holds an 8th level black belt in the Black Dragon Fighting Society and
has taught thousands of people in the last two decades.  This is an instructional class (not a
group x class) and a fee will be assessed.  Members will receive a 10% discount.
